Bademli Infiltration Pond Project

The aim of the Bademli Infiltration Pond Project is to collect rainwater falling on the open plant production fields, greenhouse roof area, and surrounding agricultural areas owned by the Bademli Agricultural Development Cooperative in Ödemiş, and to infiltrate it into the infiltration pond to raise the groundwater level. The pond, covering an area of 1,255 m², includes 769 m² of infiltration area. It is estimated that 2,307 m³/day of rainwater will be infiltrated daily, and the annual amount of water to be stored underground will be 58,800 m³/year. This pilot implementation will serve as an exemplary model for the Küçük Menderes Plain and will be effective in combating water crises.
